“Iowa landowners are uniting to defend themselves against the use of eminent domain. The newly formed Iowa Easement Team wants to stop Summit Carbon Solutions and Navigator CO2 Ventures from using eminent domain to build pipelines throughout Iowa. Hundreds of farmers in the path of the recently proposed carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) pipelines have jointly hired the Omaha-based Domina Law to lead their legal effort.”
LANDOWNER MEETINGS: FEB. 24, MARCH 3-4
The Nebraska Easement Action Team (N.E.A.T.) and Bold Nebraska are hosting another round of landowner meetings, to share information and hear landowners' concerns about eminent domain and proposed carbon pipeline projects. Meetings will be held in Wayne, Columbus, Norfolk and Grand Island, kicking off with another virtual meeting for landowners on Thursday, Feb. 24, which you can dial-in by phone to participate, or login on your computer via Zoom.
